It takes a couple of things:

Commitment (signing a contract to perform/show up)

Material (at least a full 20-30 minute set of songs, of high quality, mixed to sound decent on whatever speakers they provide)

Notoriety (the ability to draw a crowd and keep their interest)

Age Appropriate Material (Ponystock/Everfreenw is a All Ages event. PG-13 is ok, but don’t push the envelope)

Sociability and Cooperative Behavior (Ponystock musicians must be able to communicate with each other effectively, help out with setting up/sound checks, and we all want to be friendly with each other and have a good time)

I’m proud to say that the vast majority of this year’s performers had all of these qualifications.

this was announced a while ago:
we merged ponystock with Everfree so now its happening in Seattle with Everfree. So technically its still happening and i’m contributing to it, its just now up in Washington. We still have a ton of musicians though so that should be fun.

Bronystock, the brony music festival in Palo Alto, is now merging with the guys at Everfree!

Everfree is in Seattle, Washington and will feature all of the artists (and more) that were originally appearing at Bronystock.
